The Chiron & Centenario: Chasing Car Dreams

It’s been a crazy car week this week! We got up close and Personal with two of the most insane cars ever created, the Bugatti Chiron and the Lamborghini LP770-4 Centenario.

The Bugatti Chiron is replacing the record-breaking Veyron as a heavy weight contender for King of Hypercars. And judging by the stats it’s easy to see why: 1,500 Horsepower, a $3 million price tag and looks that are sleek, refined, aggressive, and pay homage to legendary Bugatti deigns of the past. Don’t take our word for it, take a look:

We are dying to see just how fast this manster is, but in the meantime we’ll take a trip over to Italy. The Lamborghini LP770-4 Centenario is outgoing CEO’s Stephan Winkelmann’s parting gift to the Italian brand he’s spent the last 11 years building into a serious company. The Centenario is named to celebrate the 100th birthday of Lamborghini himself, Ferruccio Lamborghini.

While the stats for the Centenario include 770 Horsepower, 4 wheel steering, looks that out crazy all of their past insanity combined, and a limited run of only 20 coupes and 20 roadsters. Lamborghini has always been “those guys” aka that one friend that’s always doing something crazier than last time, and this car is no exception. We’d love to see one in action, though with only 40 in the world it might be easier to catch a leprechaun while riding a unicorn while blindfolded. For now, we’ll just enjoy these shots we took of this mythical beast.

Cheers,

-JB
